    Most of those starters return to this year's squad, and they're a win away from matching what they did last season.

    The Caledonia High School football team is back at its second home, again.

    A year after missing the MSHSL Class 2A state playoffs for the first time since 2004 – yes, 2004 - the Warriors are back and looking for state title number six since 2007.

    WIAA FB: Bakalars carries Logan

    He rushed for over 200 yards. He scored three rushing touchdowns. He ran another back on a kickoff. And he threw one just for good measure. 

    The only thing Logan High School senior Kyle Bakalars didn't do after the WIAA Division 3 second-round win over New Richmond last Friday was drive the bus home. That's because he didn't have to, as the Rangers took care of business at home on Swanson field with a 59-27 victory.

    WIAA State XC: Aquinas' Lichter D3 runner-up

    WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. - It was a chilly day for a cross country meet, but that didn't slow down Aquinas High School.

    Senior Jennifer Lichter finished the WIAA Division 3 state runner-up and led the Blugolds to a fourth-place finish. That's exactly where the boys ended up, as well at the Ridges Golf Course.
