EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – For the second consecutive week, the Central High School football team was blown out. For the second consecutive week, the Red Raiders had zero passing yards.

Central was down 40 points to Eau Claire Memorial on Thursday night, before finally getting on the board. The Red Raiders lost 47-13 – the second time in as many weeks they’ve given up 47 points.

Memorial (1-1), which lost to Logan 17-14 on a field goal in the final seconds last week, piled up 458 yards, including 361 on the ground. Central, down 20-0 at halftime, gained 188 yards rushing and was 0-for-5 on passing attempts.

Tonight, hear Mike Kearns on AM 580 when Logan heads to Eau Claire North (1-0), which beat Central 47-20 last week.

Also, on 94.7 FM, Dan Deicher will have Caledonia at St. Charles. The Warriors (1-0) defeated La Crescent 55-7 last week, while St. Charles (0-1) fell to Rochester Lourdes, 38-25.
