New Orleans released him after getting Demarcus Cousins
The Milwaukee Bucks appear to be still trying to make the playoffs.
Reports are the team will sign 25-year-old power forward Terrence Jones, who was released by New orleans.
The 6-foot-9, 255-pound Jones is kind of a scrapper. When he gets minutes, he put up decent stats. He may not, however, fit into the Bucks style of play, though they don’t really have any big men that fit their system at this point.
He was the 18th overall pick in 2012 and spent his first four years in Houston, another team where he no longer fits the style of play.
New Orleans traded for Demarcus Cousins and decided Jones was no longer needed, despite his recently 36-point, 11-rebound performance in a 124-122 win over Cleveland on Jan. 23.
