    The 6-foot-4 senior picked as good a time as any. On the Williams Arena floor. At State. When his team needed it most. And against the team that ruined their state-title hopes last year.

    That game may look easy now, compared to what the Hilltoppers (16-8) are up against tonight.

    MINNEAPOLIS – Charlie Krambeer picked a good time to be on fire.

    The Rushford-Peterson High School senior scored 28 of his 33 points in the first half of a 105-58 win Thursday over Fond du Lac Ojibwe on Thursday in the opening round of the Minnesota Class A state tournament at Williams Arena.

    MENOMONIE, Wis. – For a half, the Onalaska High School boys basketball team stuck with Rice Lake.

    But in the end, 6-foot-10 Henry Ellenson and fifth-ranked Warriors were simply too much.

    Top-ranked Trojans get second crack at title in as many years

    MINNEAPOLIS – Rushford-Peterson High School’s boys basketball team is a win away from giving Tom Vix a Minnesota state championship for each decade he’s coached the team.

    In the Class 1A quarterfinals, the Trojans shot the lights out. Friday, in the semifinals, it was the defense that took center stage.

    Southeastern Minnesota is looking to bring home two state championships today.

    MINNEAPOLIS – They can finally call themselves state champions.

    In its fourth consecutive trip to state, the Rushford-Peterson High School boys basketball team is taking home the Class A Minnesota state title.

     Warriors' 18 year title drought
    paled in comparison to Melrose's 41 years

    It’s hard to fight the team seemingly of fate.

    That about sums up what Caledonia High School's boys basketball team was up against Saturday in the Minnesota Class 2A state championship at the Target Center.
